We work alongside your existing wound-care team.
Your wound specialist continues to manage the wound and determine the overall treatment plan.
GW can provide Arobella low-frequency ultrasound treatment in the home as an additional therapy between office visits. During our visits, we can also perform dressing changes according to your provider’s instructions, reinforce offloading and other wound-care recommendations, monitor the wound closely, and report changes or concerns back to your treating team.
Think of us as an extra set of skilled hands and eyes between wound-care visits.
Need wound care at home?

Arobella Treatment — In Your Home
Some chronic wounds need more than routine dressing changes.
GW provides Arobella low-frequency ultrasound wound therapy in the patient’s home as an additional treatment option for appropriate chronic and difficult-to-heal wounds.
Because treatment can be provided multiple times per week when appropriate, we also have the opportunity to closely monitor the wound, make sure dressing instructions are being followed, and identify concerns between physician visits.
Arobella may be considered for wounds that are:

Chronic or slow to heal

Not progressing as expected

Difficult to manage with routine care alone

In patients who have difficulty getting to a clinic frequently
Arobella does not replace the rest of the wound-care plan. It is another tool that can be added when appropriate.

When GW is seeing a patient regularly at home, we can:

Make sure prescribed dressing changes are actually being performed

Reinforce offloading and other instructions

Monitor wound appearance and progress

Identify new drainage, redness, odor, pain, or other concerns

Communicate changes back to the medical team

Help patients and caregivers stay consistent with the wound-care plan
